Timeline
Cruise with Flagship and become part of San Diego history.
- 1915 – San Diego's first harbor excursions
- 1918 – Five-cent ferry begins service to North Island Naval Air Station
- 1955 – World's first commercial whale watching tour
- 1969 – Coronado Bridge opens; ferry service pauses for 18 years
- 1986 – The Engel family purchases the company
- 1987 – Ferry service returns
- 2011 – First San Diego fleet to use shore power
- 2013 – Patriot Jet Boat joins the fleet
- 2024 – Awarded grant for California's first all-electric ferry
